btw, there is a real plant called garlic chives, what you're talking about is green garlic. Green garlic comes from cloves. Unless you are doing actual garlic chives (it just doesn't look like it :))

heck yeah! basil is awesome. I just planted a bunch of seeds. waiting for them to sprout.
