I've been hunting for 10 years, and these are some great tips! I knew some of them, and have experienced many of the things you mentioned but I still learned some things. Always enjoy your videos man!

Great video. Something I picked up quickly as a new hunter I never read or hear about. I quit facing my stand at my shooting lane. And started facing my strong side at it. I've found this to give me more shot opportunities. Better yet if there is a bunch of cover to my weak right side.

Hey Ike, I know my question has nothing to do with this video, but this is your most recent video so I figured this is where I would have the best chance of you seeing my question.. I'm getting my daughters into archery, my youngest is 13, she will be shooting a low poundage to start, however I have found with children in the past that they make the biggest jumps in poundage in the first year as they learn proper form, and get stronger from pulling the bow. So Is it OK to get her started with an arrow that is over spined a bit at first instead of having to buy new arrows every six or eight weeks as she progresses.? I don't have a lot of money and could really use your input here. Thanks !

Hi Ike, I'd be interested in a video about what you do between, once the animal is harvested, to when it gets to the table. I know that in a previous video you mentioned taking a deer to be processed and the importance of removing bone and such, but I'd like to know more about the timing of everything. That is, how quickly do you get the animal on ice etc, do you hang your meat for some amount of time as I've read elsewhere or do you do something else? Is there a difference in timing for different animals? Say Deer vs Pigs... Just interested in how you get this part of the process done. Thanks, enjoying your vids mate :-) Seems like everything is a lot easier in the US vs Australia, re hunting.

I honestly think you should have covered the region somebody might be in who is interested in starting hunting in.. I'm from N.E and all hunting is tree stands. Now I'm in SW in AZ everyone Stalks and blind hunts. For tree stand and especially blinds recommend a short ATA bow. Stalking 32"+. also. I store hunting clothes dusted with soil from the area I hunt in a tote.

That was helpful I just don't know how to get a hunting lease or go to a public land
