Thank you for this great and super important information! I live in the NV desert, and also use wood chips in my orchard. It's a total mystery how much to water and when, and some of my baby trees have died as a result of my ignorance. I also can't seem to find the really big bubblers that you are using, for some reason. I'd love to come out there to one of your gardening classes. Hopefully sometime soon 😊.

Thanks for the video. I'm a fair distance away, but the experiences you've encounter and overcome will be of assistance.
Although I'm in northern Australia, I'm developing a new garden/forest from bare bones in what is a tropical arid zone - I.e the rain moves around us!
Water usage is such a high priority, and I thank you again for giving me ideas to move forward with. -
you forgot to water the papaya and mango tree
-
thanks mom for that tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are all bugs good for the garden including coach roaches? We have american coach roaches in our yard.

Awesome video Jake! Gardening truly is a constant learning curve. Observe the trees and plants and let them tell you what they need is the best. No one solution fits all, it is always a mix of methods to make things work, especially if one grow as diverse as you do. Happy Gardening! Hope the Dauben Tropical Water Lily I brought over survived the curious school of koi~ 😃

My experience with backyard fruit trees in Texas is similar to Jake's. My mature trees can do fine with infrequent and deep watering (or no watering at all), but some of the very young trees are surprisingly needy. The young persimmons and apricots in particular needed daily watering this summer in order to avoid having drooping leaves in the afternoon, despite thick mulch cover.

This guy kinda a joke, kinda like a long single dating video ,

Awesome stuff:')

How do you add the mushroom bubbler? This is an excellent idea

what I do is watering all the plants and not changed the frequency for summer three times (in sunset, middle of the day, and sunrise) Then eventually I reduced to two times at the end of summer. For winter too but the duration of water flood will be reduced in winter. When you break the frequency the plant need will be more because it's adapted to time of watering more than amount. What do you think about it?

Jake . moringa sprouted! ty....any chance you would sell a few dragonfruit cuttings?

Thanks Jake, Always so helpful! You're very inspirational.

Excellent video. I'm in a low desert and garden similarly... tho your garden is more productive. You were very informative. I'll watch this one a few times to see if I can improve productivity.

Mint is invasive but it needs frequent rain. Believe me it'll never become invasive in Arizona.
