Thanks, our vegetablegardener!! I will be positive with my first time garden project. I do not have my own land yet but this is a great idea to feed my family and take my pots when my dream will be come true to have my own property.

I planted lettuce for the first time today and was worried I planted it too close together so thank you I feel so much better and can't wait after seeing your beautiful plants! Way to make it simple and fun.

Inspiring, thank you, but at the same time it reminds me how anxious i am about the world, how i won't get a job, and how i'll never get a house, and how much i really want my own land to garden and how completely unnecessary it is for you and i to be planting plants like this, and how much better those plants could grow if they could drain properly, and how you probably know all of that but your just trying to inspire people to start gardening so they can save money because it's really easy. I just want to let you know that there is 500x more fluoride in well waters than there is in rain water or any surface waters, and that the Electronegativity
(the tendency to draw in electron mass) of the element fluorine (fluorine has the highest Electronegativity out of all of the elements on the periodic table, 1/8th of the entire spectrum of Electronegativity, with all 118 elements from the periodic table on that spectrum, is a gap between elements oxygen and fluorine) which is part of fluoride compounds can cause distortions of biological processes that have not evolved to cope with the levels of fluoride they are being exposed to. All we are is finely tuned DNA by natural selection, and we are the only animals to dig holes in the ground and pump water out to drink and garden with, store rain water if you can but i'm not so sure how clean rain water is these days either. Drinking and processing your foods with distilled water is best because it contains no dissolved solids, i grow wheat grass and sprouts in my apartment and i just started a small garden in my closet, i only make 745$ a month because i'm on disability, but this is my gift to the world i guess, perhaps gods gift if you want to call it that, to discuss fluoride, but this gets me no where, i hope it gets you somewhere, i can't relate, i don't want to be part of the world, i'm a lone wolf trying to help others. Distortion of biological processes leads to things like cancer, and i should also mention i haven't been sick in the last 2 years since i stopped drinking well water, good luck. -
I am lazy but this is a good idea. Thank you. Pot gardening easy to manage.

Just got given two 12 cubic foot tree planters... Starting myself a container vegetable garden this weekend.

Yes, its a person's hobby usually, gardening is so enjoying and you have veggies at the same time.
-
Gosh...you make it soo simple

Thanks for that comment. I tell my friends and clients that you can't make mistakes. Even if the plants don't grow as well as they would in the ground, you are still producing food! My tomatoes in pots only produce about one quarter of what they do in the ground and in full sun--but they still produce food! Just plant a few more.

Excellent video here...I encourage everyone to just try it out...I've been growing arugula in large containers here in SWFL from Sept. to April and it just keeps growing. Summer heat and rain is not good for it but it is so simple to do most of the year!

Omg! Your garden is so fabulous! =) I live in a condo in Las Vegas and decided to start my own vegetable garden on my terrace. I'm happy to have came across your video so I can model your design. Take care!

Itstheonlyway Clown you can buy strawberry roots. They don't take long.
-
wow how nice!! : ) what kind of soil and fertilizer do you use? Thanks

I have never tried growing in bags and I really don't get too caught up in the new ideas for gardening. My whole life, I just put stuff in the ground, and it grows. Sometimes I make mistakes in timing but it all works out in the end. The value of homegrown food is so much more than just about saving money. It is about knowing that your food was grown without pesticides. It is about experimenting and connecting with the earth--even in pots! Thanks Blair

Thank you, I hope you find some time to search out my other videos. I have a large set on trees as well. Blair
