The creator of this video is irresponsible and misleading: He uses the words "harsh chemicals" to describe what he previously referred to as 'pesticide' instead of 'herbicide' then goes on to tell people to use 15 to 20% vinegar without first warning people that 20% vinegar is also a very HARSH chemical. So harsh that you won't find it easily...People spraying 20% vinegar can be blinded and suffer severe burns on skin if the wind blows it back in their faces or if they splash it while using it. Use eye protection and cover your skin and do NOT use it around children or pets. Breathing spray can damage your mucous membranes or bronchioles. Yes it WILL kill plants. It strips the protective layer from the leaves and the plant is basically dried out by bleeding it's moisture plus there is root damage. Some plants however have fine hairs or waxy layers or glaucous yeast 'bloom' or oily layers which cause moisture to not adhere to the surface well enough to effect the kill. Adding dish soap to the vinegar and after making sure you are protected from spillage or splashing and mixing it well can help the vinegar to adhere to the leaf where it can strip the surface of the leaf... Don't think that just because vinegar is used in food you can get 20% vinegar on you without consequences.
