I don't get why all these tutorials always show someone sticking seedlings into dry potting mix. If you saturate the seedlings and the planting site right before, there will be little to no transplant shock. Potting mixes should be watered thru at least once before transplanting into it.

can you pick a small beat that isn`t full size and replant it so it grows more, instead of thinning ones and wasting them?
