What is cs?

Ty adc is my worst role mainly laning phase gets me at one point I had to switch up and go vayne top as I found that easier for me. however it was mainly just laning problems for me as my positioning isn't too bad

About the trading and the minion wave, what about if your enemy adc is on the front line of minions and you have an aoe damage ability like Kog maws q or graves w, could you still harass from there? Because you get Cs and harass, so the lane pushes forward and forces the enemy back while they're trying to trade back to you and could force an easy kill especially if the aoe damaging ability was also a cc.
