Take what she says with a grain of salt. Those gourd seeds have mostly a 100% germination rate so putting two per section will only weaken the two plants that come up. The soil was also very dry for seeds as big as that. Submerging them in distilled water for 24 hours before you put them in the tray would be a better idea.

The pre-moistened soil is a great tip and the acclimation too. I'm a beginner and this was a great video. I'll follow all your tips when planting seeds this year. Thanks. MY TIP TO BEGINNERS: do not pre-soak small seeds because they are very difficult to put in the soil, they stick to your finger and won't drop to the soil.

Wow thnx! I will start learn to do this

Biodegradable (cardboard) egg carton is a great idea. Misting is better than watering! Very nice presentation to start seeds!

At all times, we can save a lot of money if we start to raise our garden from seeds. Seeds are cheaper as compared to grown up plants already. In starting to grow a seed, we need not to utilize expensive gardening equipments as we can recycle household wastes like egg crates and cardboard as shown on this video. Since these are biodegradable, we can plant these directly in the soil when they are ready.

Outside with the clear wrap on them? I am using a greenhouse that was inexpensive so do I keep the lid on while outside or no lid?

Thanks for this video! It was probably the simplest one I've watched so far. There is a lot of confusion when it comes to the right methods, but I think intuition and basic education are the best tools =)
