Thank you for this instructive video. I have seeds that I collected last year (wild pollination, I don't know exactly who the parents are.
I am just curious to try, before getting serious about it.
I kept the in the fresh since last summer (and a few weeks in the freezer).
We are now end of may. Is it too late to start them? -
Thanks, I'm just starting to learn with my seeds. Needed the video for assurance of what I was doing.

how long in water before they germinated?

Sure enjoyed your video, keep up the good work.

Thanks Nancy:) A little piece of advice for you: if you know the names of the daylily cultivars you bought, go to Davesgarden (dot)com to check and see if they are Diploids or Tetraploids. Diploids can only be crossed with diploids and tetraploids with other tetraploids. If you don't know the names/ploid status, you may not have many seeds. Hope you have a lot of fun trying that out! Your yard sounds beautiful by the way:)

Thanks for the instructions, Sarah. I bought clumps of daylilies at the end of the summer for $5 a clump! 20 nice plants in each clump, or so. I went hogwild with it and have planted them all around my thyme labyrinth, all around the front of the glass tipi, along the side of the pond, and in the perennial slope garden! I'm saving the seeds that are coming off them now, too. So beautiful!
