That cucumber doesn't seem to be ripe enough from its looks, so wondering if it was successful?? ;)

i did this as per your instruction but when i sow tthat seeds only 20-22 grown up rest are non germinated...so please help me with this that how can i get 100% germination

Your right to let the cukes over ripen on the vine. I see video where people seed save from under ripe cukes and I wonder if there germination rate is good. The over ripe cukes should look yellow, whitish in color. Also if you eat the over ripe cuke its a little bitter tasting but still edible. Cuke seeds go through fermentation process just like Tomatoes seeds do. Hope this helps people.

Do you keep the seeds in a refrigerator or freezer till next spring, or just in a cool dry place???
