How to Re-grow Romaine Hearts | August's Edible Patio | Garden Tip | Cooking Tip In this video I show you how to re-grow store-bought romaine hearts. This is great way to get two for the price of one. Just stick the base of the romaine heart in a glass of water rather than throwing it into the compost pile. Stick it in a window and watch it start growing again in just a few days. It doesn't even have to be a particularly sunny window either. I grew mine in a north facing window. This is great project for kids to do with their parents.
