I actually did once but it would take a very long comment to describe the why and why lol. New logo looks good man. Peace.

Growing up, my mother kept a Lilac bush in the side yard and she just loved clipping off flowers and bringing them inside. It's still a scent that reminds me of my mom. Once i moved out almost a decade ago, it stopped producing flowers as much and became a very skeletal bush, just producing some leaves and maybe some small flowers. A couple years ago, my dad went out and chopped it close to the ground, I believe in preparation to remove it, but life got in the way and he just left the stump out there. Flash forwards a bit and the last time i went out to visit the house, it was almost 4 feet tall again and covered in bright green leaves. I can almost smell those flowers even now. <3 thanks for a great memory!

When I was a kid living in Chicago, we had a lilac bush that my Dad used to cut down almost to the ground about every 5 or 6 years. Doing that kept it from spreading all over the yard, and made for a very pretty and full bush with a quick annual trimming during the "Off years".

A lot of work but well worth it. Lilacs are a great bush if tended. My mom has a pussy willow that nobody's touched in years and now it's higher than her two story home.

Great video and very timely. We have a lilac that's about 9 or 10 feet tall and about 6 ft wide. It has about a dozen main branches and is an overgrown mess. It has been on my to do list for a while. Now I know this is the time to do it, I had better move it toward the top of the list. Great info!
