I have quite a few huge bushes that i would say are way over 50 years old. I used to be able to drive around them with the tractor about 40 years ago when i was a kid but now they are just out of control huge. they still grow berries but fewer and small. I dont think they've ever been pruned before. What's the best way to prune them to grow nicer berries again. Can you just cut the main branches short all together. Thank you

Hi if we have snow n winter we still can blueberry outside or we have to plant in pot ?

Hello growingwisdom, I planted two blueberry plants next to my house in native high clay content soil w/some slightly acidic leaf compost, next to our house it never freezes & the soil stays above freezing so they never went dormant. Their leaves did turn a light reddish-green during winter though without falling off, new shoots are forming but no new buds or off-shoots are forming on the year old stems; does this mean the year old branches won't fruit? How should I prune it? Thank you!
