I followed your instruction to the letter and yet in only 2 days, the cuttings wilted. I had them in watered vermiculite...perhaps the time of the seasons, matter?

Your plant is a cane begonia, not a thick-stem. Big difference. Other than that, good info on propagation, although if you root cuttings in soil, you should bury two nodes
