Thank for sharing ,I'm new I have a succulent plant that was given to me ,it have grown I noticed during the spring they grow faster than winter , well I noticed they stood tall summer, then I moved them in side then a few months later the stem start curving and leaves start to really stretch apart , however they still looked pretty I was reading online that they was searching for sun light . While I was viewing your video . I got some helpful tips about how to propagate . And cut off the stem while leaving it still attached to the soil , well I didn't wait few days later after cutting off the top , I immediately put it in the soil , wish I would've came back to view your video again at that time . It's been about a month now since I did this, so I'm kind afraid to bother it , well so far that part looks healthy.. One freezing night I forgot they was outside next morning the leaves looked slump n very wet looking ( like they was thawing out lol)Do u think that they will come back to life ? ( healthy)Sorry for long story , but thanks again for your video, like I said earlier, I'm a new beginner ,

how do you propagate the rose like succulents

Why are some succulents illegal to propagate?
-
hello. I was wondering if you can give an idea for how long it takes to grow little succulents? My wedding is in June and I was thinking I could save a bit of money if I could grow them myself. I live in florida so it is still quite hot. your video was great. If you could help me out I would love it. Thanx

Will using a cloning gel help?

You look so sweet!!! Thank you for sharing this very helpful video, and for the encouragement! I just found a collection of succulents at an antique mall that's arranged in an old metal letter (turned into a planter), and am so excited about growing my own little babies :D

Hi so I have a question. I'll list the steps that I did to propagate, and I'm not sure if they're right so please correct me if I'm wrong.
1) Take the leaves off of the plant
2) Put the leaves in a clear tupperware without soil
3) Let the leaves callous over
4) Place them in dry cactus soil
We have not watered the succulent leaves, and they are not growing roots. Please help. -
Can I use rooting hormone powder to help with the rooting?

I have four succulents and a cacti, they've grown immensely since I got them and I was wondering if there's a way to propagate them without stripping them of leaves. They've all basically grown clusters of babies and I have a sunrise anacampseros that's just overgrown. All of them are healthy so I was wondering if I would be able to use the same process of how you cut the top off and replant it.

Is there any type of succulent this doesn't work for? I'm try it on some haworthia, but I'm not sure it's going to work.
-
Great Channel! I hope to start making succulent terrariums soon and I was just wondering, don't the succulents grow out of small spaces? Your Q&A video was a huge help!
-
I think you can also try to have the cut off stem grow some babies
-
You can propagate all the succulents you want regardless of plant patents, no one is going to come to your house and arrest you. You'll only get into trouble if you start propagating to sell the plants on a reasonably sized scale.

Cry. I just knocked over my succulent plant and the top broke off along with some of the leaves so I'm going to try to propagate them and make little babies. I'm the worst at plant care so we'll just see what happens. ;u;
Thanks for the video! -
I have tried but never worked :(

I've been propagating the leaves of my succulents for awhile now and my first batch is finally starting to take off. My question is, is there a better time of year than others to behead a stretched succulent? Should I wait to behead them until Summer or something or is now, the fall time, fine? One article I read said the dormant season was best, and another said the Summer was best, so now I am unsure.
