How big should the pups be before you can pull them out?
-
my alo has some small pups growing how big do they have to be, before I moved them away from the parent alovera.
-
What kind of soil do you use? does it have to be dry when planting aloe or transferring?
-
I pulled my pups out but they didn't have any roots :( will they grow them anyway even if I pot them up? I didn't know if they were like succulents and had rhizomes in the leaves. Thanks!

Thank you!

if u check those things I said u can probably grow monster prehistoric type aloes;)
I'm attempting it in just water:) ? with just some root in water an bout half in the "dry zone" -
not planted at the proper depth-and twisted cos are deficient of proper nutes and the pH of that dirty dirt is no doubt off as well:)
peace
also better pots might be pop bottles cut down -need to be at least 6in depth but really 8ish is good fr little aloes:) -

nice video! Ty!

What percentage of success would you have without the root on the pup. They break off easily. Should you use a rooting hormone, start in water, or just plant it as you would with a pup with a root?

great video - we just got a new aloe plant - haven't grown these for years.

Nice nice. I hear everyone over waters them.

I just replanted a few of the small ones from my main plant. Mine does well indoors, and basically they don't like direct sunlight. (My indoors ones just get watered once a week in the summer. Just make sure the soil is very dry beforehand.)
My small aloe plants are creating little pups as well! I plan to move them into little yogurt containers as a gift to a friend. -
Great info Thanks

I gained aloe plants when the previous tenant left them behind a dumpster in a planter with no soil, a neighbor said they were there for a year. hardly any soil, light or rain and in decent shape. aloe is truely the easiest plant to grow

Good timing, me finding this video.....I just rescued my aloe plant. I actually had forgotten about it in the utility room. Now maybe I can really save it. Thanks for sharing.

I used to work for a guy MANY years ago doing HVAC, he always kept a few plants growing, he used it for cuts from working with sheet metal to burns. He swore by it!
Thanks for sharing, Lee -
I have one that just goes nuts all the time, I always give 'em away, or throw them,
