I grew sweetcorn last year for the first time using swift. Did so well I ended up buying a small freezer for the garage to store all the cobs over 200 of them. Just planting out swift and sundance out now. Thanks for the great videos. Professional but very down to earth(pardon the pun).

thank you

Is there an update or info on how well your sweet corn did that year, have you or are you going to grow anymore this year 2016 ?

Hello Claire. Happy Gardening :)

Hi Claire, do you ever chit your sweetcorn seeds first? Also I've always sown my seeds in toilet rolls because I didn't think they liked their roots being disturbed but I guess neither of these things matter as I guess your sweetcorn do well without the faff of what I do.

Hi Claire, love all your videos they are all soo helpful. Question when you sow the seeds in one big tray do you take them apart the same way? I sowed some in a tray with no separation and am now unsure of how to remove them. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Hello Claire Is there a followup video showing the sweetcorn harvest?
-
+Ayomi Oni I think it's a bit late to buy any now. They all seem to be sold out. But what you can do is to decided which variety you would like to grown next year.

Does anybody know where I can get sweetcorn plugs or plants online? I REALLY want to grow it this year. Is it too late to sow a really early variety?
Thanks for your help! -
Nice looking sweet corn!

Thanks Claire, I actually bought corn plants this year and need to plant them this week-end. I didn't know you could plant them a little deeper than how they were in the pot.
Thanks again

Ahhh so the corn is the four corners and the squash is the middle dot in a five dice. Got it. I have heard of the 3 sisters (or in this case 2 sisters but not seen how to space them out so clearly. Thanks Claire, another mystery solved. All the best.

Hi Clair, after seeing your other video about growing squash with corn, I have grown mine in the greenhouse because my wife has used both gardens up.
The sweetcorn (multi colored popcorn) is about 8ft high and pressing against the glass with the tops coming out of the roof ventilators.
The squash I am now growing vertically to save space as they are going crazy. -
Thank you for taking the time to video you work in the garden I do enjoy them. I plant cucumbers in the corn but you are right , there are lots of companion plants for corn.
You work very hard in the garden I am happy you do have such good production from it. I hope you have a nice weekend.
