i have never used that kinda green house . i just use 16 oz water botels with dirt from my back yard . uselessly see leaves around one week to 9 day's .just take to water botels for each seed cut one in half and the other just cut below the threads . the taller one putt holes in bottom fill with dirt and seed . now the one you cut in half put the lower half over the one you filled with dirt and seed after watering . place in sunny window and vala .

Not hala pee nos. jala[eños = Hala -PAY-Nyos.
Also they are really not tropical plants. They originated in upland temperate and arid regions in Mexico. They grow GREAT in the desert areas of the southwest US where high daytime temps and low night time temps. They really do not grow well in the tropical areas of Mex. because it's too humid and hot at night. -

@ Nazz Boner - to get your jalapenos hotter you need to stress the plant and not baby it. Starve it of water and make the plant fight to survive, it will store more of the chemicals that make it hot.

My plants are still small but they are putting out good size Jalapenos, the problem is the peppers have no heat. Can I do anything about this?
