Nice video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard about - Lammywalness Green Grapes Guide (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for learning how to become a successful grape grower without the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my close friend Aubrey got great results with it.

Tonight's episode on NBC TV's Grimm is called Hibernaculum. It made me think of your video building one. I'm guessing this one will be a bit different.

Its strange that Dale mentioned Hampton Court because as you went through and explained things I had a very clear memory of The Great Vine and why it was grown as it was. Apparently as our climate is having a bit of a change (words chosen carefully) we are developing a climate much more suited to wine than it used to be. It was great to catch up mate. All the best.

Thanks for the lesson Tony. I hope all goes well with the growing and support network

I love the little water butt pump.... lots of hard work there Tony but it is lovely when a plan comes together..... your plot is looking fabulous. You have come such a long way and hopefully your neighbours will be shamed into improving their plots too.. It could be such a lovely little community.

I am a huge fan of grapes even here in zone 3 Canada :) companion planting with things like strawberries help keep the grapes feet cool and nutrients in balance.

Hi Tony
I've just planted a Black Hamburg vine in my greenhouse with the root run outside. I live not far from a vineyard (http://www.halfpenny-green-vineyards.co.uk). I called in and had a good hour with the owner Martin Vickers, who explained the care and growing techniques. The method that you described with the rods travelling horizontal is originally French method called the DOUBLE GUYOT. I am no expert, but came away from there much more knowledgable. I just can't wait to get the first crop off, but as you say, it will take a few years. Great news with the committee taking up the challenge. Hope all goes to plan.
Cheers
