Question, I have 3' tall plants with several white and purple blooms but they all turn black and never get big? What is happening and how can I have my broadbeans produce? Thank you,
Bruce -
I'm really looking forward to trying out aquadulce beans this year.

I've had a lot of trouble getting beans going these last few years. I think our climate isn't the best for beans. It is too cold to get them out early most years and turns so hot that they just don't seem to germinate well outside and inside we get a few to germinate but always seem stunted when putting them out. We'll see how they do this year and if we have trouble maybe you can give us some advice.

I started my broad beans in toilet rolls two weeks ago in the polytunnel, but no sine of them sprouting yet, do you think it may be to warm in there. -
I've grown broad beans for several years in the Pacific Northwest and my favorite way of eating them is to marinate them in evoo and herbs and salt and grilling them till almost burned and eating the whole thing pods and all.
