Hi, I am going to show you how to plant arugula seed. It is one of the easiest things to plant in the garden. First you will need to prepare the soil. Remove all large rocks and dirt clods. the arugula seed is tiny and you will want the soil to be fine.Arugula seed varies in color, from red to brown. The red seeds will help you see where you are brodcasting the seed.Brodcast the seeds about 1 inch apart from eachother.Lightly rake the seeds in the dirt. They don't need to be very deep, since the seeds are so small. After watering, the arugula seed should germinate within 2 to 3 days. Make sure to keep the ground moist until the seeds starts to germinate.Saving arugula seed is very easy. Let the plant go to seed. You will see a white flower. A seed pod will be created with about 7 to 10 seeds in it. Let the seed pod dry on the plant and harvest the seeds before they fall out.
