Working with a Rosie the Riveter This video is the first to show you how to plant a dogwood tree to honor Rosie the Riveters. It "stars": Anna Hess, a Rosie who made truck tired at age 15 in Akron, Ohio; Girl Scouts from Glenville, WV; and Doug Jolley, a plant and bird expert who has added know-how and show-how to the Rosie the Riveter Project over several years. The site is Doug's small nursery in Heaters, a rural town in Central West Virginia. The video was made by Marissa Fox, the Girl Scout Troop Leader in Glenville, WV who took more video that day of the girls with Anna and Buddie Curnutte, another Rosie who watched from the window because the wind was biting that day. " Thanks! Plain and Simple" to all. Tree plantings don't have to be at the same moment as other locations, of course. However, the cooperation shows that people can pull together toward a higher goal.
