Hi Adam , your videos are amazing.
I have a question, I planted this year several roses plants in my yard. My problem is , the roses flourish and then die fast what is going on ? Plz advise? -
Roses are 'solitary' flowers ; they don't like "rotten leaves and petals" around the plant!

Hi Adam, what time of the year should the stems be planted? Autumn or Spring? Thanks!

Check out perma culture and biodynamic and organic gardening. If you do composting and grow everything naturally you don't ever have to buy fertilizer or Earth soil. Just keep it in a natural life cycle and allow anything organic from the plants to stay in the planting beds and also add your own soil from compost into the beds. Worms make compost into the best and most fertile Earth soil possible. Check out John Kohler's videos. Check out the books by Dr. Rudolf Steiner.

Thank you so much, Adam. I followed your advice and have planted a rose garden in the front garden this afternoon, after preparing the soil with cow manure and organic compost.
I planted three standard iceberg roses with 4 carpet roses beneath (2 x lipstick pink + 2 x white) and watered in with seasol. Then I mulched with a good quality sugar cane mulch and hosed that down as you suggested.
I'm looking forward to the blooms over the coming summer months! -

our climbing roses do put on a good display but only for about 2 months (uk) if cut back after flowering. my mums old ones in the ground have their own bed and enough space and are still just a mess; stickey, bare, just a few weeks of flowers and not worth the space. i dont know if theyre just old or and bad variety but i never see any good specimens anywhere around where i live.

I'll be making a vid on pruning these roses soon gabrielgutierrez8282 so stay tuned :)

Gee that's a bit harsh Tim :) Well cared for roses should look good for well over 9 months of the year. This year the ones I planted in this video started blooming in late winter (august) & kept going until around a month ago (early june) That whole time the've also been big & bushy, barely a thorny stick in sight :)
