After planting, a grapevine can bear fruit in just 2 years. One vine requires about 8 ft. of trellis or fence, with each plant producing on average about 15 lbs. of fruit per year.

getting it started is more challenging,but after that it should grow like weeds, i have rasberries that took for ever to start, but after a year or two we got a bush going and this year we are going to get like 10 pounds of rasberries or more, and there are maybe 100 plants with 40 producing, and that 60 is just lots of potential rasberries that we wil get next year

Great film. If you'd entertain a different subject question. I'm getting ready to plant two rows of grapes. One line of ten Blue Lakes and one of ten Muscadines. Are there any problems with cross pollination between the two types of vines if they're planted too close to each other?
