If you make your own yogurt you can pour a little whey (clear liquid) into your jar of vegies to 'inoculate' the ferment and give it a head start.

I tried looking for the sea90 salt and it comes up as a fertilizer.

Hi John, Nicely done and well explained. Thanks

John why use a quart of water then use grams instead of tsp. of salt. Give us a break.

EXCELLENT!! thank you so much!! However I cannot grow radishes. You say they are very easy but I don't think so. Maybe my soil was too crappy. I got the Dr Earth soil this year and the boogie brew is on the way!! I might try some Radishes when the weather cools down a bit.

Radish greens are my favorite part of the plant. I use them like any other cooking green.

John do you massage your cabbage etc or do you do them all the way you do the radishes. Thank you so much for all the amazing info you give.

Do you lose all the nutrition from freezing too?

I like your setting. reminds me of "between two ferns" with zach galifianakis.

pro tip: throw some of the radish greens in there too for flavor and the bacteria on the leaves.
