I just acquired 1.5 acres of land and am planning to devote maybe 1/4 acre to building a garden. That's still a lot of space so I can't afford to buy 15" tall plants. Can I simply get seeds and sprinkle them on the ground for them to grow by themselves?

Question, do you have to use horse manure sparingly? I have horsea nd PLENTY of composted horse manure, I'm afraid of burning my plants though. Thank you, LOVE your videos and can't wait tocome visit the nursery!
