what is 1 part of Peroxide to 9 parts of water means ? ? measurements
-
Thank you! I will try this if the apple cider vinegar I just used doesn't work. Have a great day!
-
Is this the same for the mold that grows outside and around the pot itself?
-
I too have been fighting the mold fight in my indoor herb garden I started a month or two ago. If you plan on keeping the concoction for more than a day, you should be using a brown plastic bottle (you can get the peroxide spray bottle from cvs), otherwise the peroxide will oxidize and you will need to make up the concoction more often. I've been making little bits at a time and just pouring it on the surface.

my mold is on the leaves themselves

I think my 3 leafy clover might have mold and I used cinnamon will that kill the mold ?
-
Thank you I have repotted my plants a few months ago and just noticed mold growing. I am going to try this.
-
my mold is caused by the soil retaining to much moisture, so i feel spraying liquid on it might not help.

why do people always jump to hydrogen poroxide something that most people don't know where to buy. the only thing I know of that is hair dye.
Isn't ther another solution we can use without buying commercial products.
I'm told vinegar with water works. -
Does the baking soda / water mix work for controlling the soil fungus ?
-
can u be more specific please.. 1 part hydrogen peroxide. 9 parts water means??????
-
Can i still use this method if the fungus has grown alot?
-
That didn't work on my plants.
-
I just tried this for my Basil plant! I hope it works!
-
I will try this on my bonsai soil
-
Excellent I shall try this but it would have been useful to have listed the percentage. I'll try the strongest I can find, considering it is diluted with 9 parts water.
-
3% Hydrogen Peroxide - I went to the CVS website and the only bottle that looks like the one in the video is marked 3% strength in the "Ingredients" tab.

I tried this and this is the only thing that killed the mold. I removed the surface dirt and sprayed this solution just a couple of times. it really worked!!! thank you!!
