Nice movie. However you can make it yourself. Just google woodprix and learn how to do it easily.

i think you need insect repellent

The squirrels just used the pepper as flavoring while they eat my veggies. Then they grounded the mothballs, did a couple of lines and got high after dinner.
-
use peppermint oil

this is bullshit!! I tried it!!

If your method worked then why did you lose your crops? If this did work couldn't I just use some old bay? I have a whole mess of that around from buying crabs.
-
I tried this over the weekend and it does NOT work!! I even put a container in the bowl that I put corn in for the blue jays and they still ate from it.

Interesting folks think moth balls are bad for dogs: they're naphthalene or paradichlorobenzene, which when breathed, are poison to humans. Originally they were shut in air tight storage boxes with clothes by a generation that already knew you shouldn't breathe this stuff.

Looking for the positive aspects not the negative . I think you should do away with the moth balls and just use the pepper the mothballs will also keep out the beneficial s like pollinators that the plants need . sorry i liked the craftiness until you brought out the mothballs. Just sayin !

I've tried just about every suggestion ever made, including this recipe, to keep squirrels out of my 'maters, and nothing works. I've watched those pesky critters sit up on my cages and laugh at me. When a squirrel want it, he'll find a way to get it. They're a lot smarter than most people.

the chili powder did not work and nor did mothballs. I tried the fox and even wolf urine. We had so much rain, nothing lasted long. Even on dry days the chili and mothballs did to stop them. I have two dogs who watch for squirrels during the day but can't be out there 24/7. Putting out sunflower seeds in another part of the yard only brought more squirrels. I lose green tomatoes, not just ripening ones. I put up netting to keep the birds out. Wish I could incase the tomato cages with netting and still reach them (dreaming of harvesting one or two for myself). I am amazed at how many tomatoes the squirrels eat. I think there are three of them who mostly come over from a neighbors oak tree. I want to use the bb gun, but know that just more squirrels will come.

Blow dart works best, clean, quite, and keeps anti-gun people off my case.

I need someone who enjoys shooting to hit these squirrels. I've put lots of dollars in my deck pots only to feed these dumb squirrels. I want them gone! I need a real prevention method. The Moth Balls are cancerous to humans, that I will not touch.
