By following these simple guidelines, you’ll be able to smarten up your flower beds, borders and paths with minimal effort. The video illustrates how to dig a shallow trench for the edging, how to slot it into place, and check that it’s even all the way round. Preparation & Planning Before you start digging the shallow trench, decide how high you want your edging to sit above the ground. The depth of the trench will depend on this.
