Thanks Sean, I am a chef, thinking about putting a tempura batter dish out for the guests to enjoy all these flowers in the hotel bar. I am still optimistic about having organic courgettes tho. Thanks for your help.

Mine have only just started to fruit. Male flowers appear first before the female flowers do. Stick with it for a few weeks.

Hi Sean, the packet just said Courgette/zucchini. I am in sunny Perth over looking the lovely Perthshire mountains. :)

What variety are they? Where are you?

Hi Sean, your courgettes are looking fab. Mine (all 5 plants) are rubbish. They are in very rich fertile soil. They get watered everyday. I play music to them but still nothing but male flowers. What am I doing wrong?

I'll have to try the twist next time ;)
-
Twist it baby! ;-)

I prefer a twist, it heals up quicker and is safer for the plant in case any disease tries to get in.

I just use a knife
