Thank you Mindy!!! I will use Thicker String for my Bigger wtr.melons and Thinner String for the lte.weight melons!!! Great Idea to use stocking and string!!! I hv 3 grade of thicker to lighter string and I will be just fine now mam!!! Thanks and keep up the great work!!!

Apparently doesn't plan to have big melons...they will tear down that string in two seconds.

once the plant begins growing the fruit, if you don't place support for it will it automatically fall? I've got fruit growing and broke my ankle. 'so 'I'm not able to go out to support them....

Everything you said is correct, with the exception of the hammock material. Cotton holds the water not the polyester or other synthetic materials. Thats why you use a synthetic stocking not a cotton sock. cotton acts like a spunge and holds on to the water. That's why you don't ware cotton in the winter time.

"Make sure they know I filmed that!"...okay Nick... Geez

Thank you for a great idea! BTW, since watermelon is such a heavy feeder, do you know if it would be successful growing in a veganic garden?

Best video on how to cradle the melons. Great Job!

Thanks Mindy for your video. My watermelon vines that I'm growing vertically are beginning to produce female flowers, so I'm getting close to the hammock stage. Very excited.

The other day went in the store and saw watermelon for $6.95. I looked and said for that price I can go to Golden Coral eat the buffet and get all the watermelon I want with it
