does it matter, if you put 3 seeds per hole? first time gardener :P

I missed the "precision" part. Also, your soil look like it's full of rocks.

So you can plant cantaloupes and watermelons that close together? And in such a small bed? Does this really work? Is there a follow up video?

First off you never plant watermelon close to your cantaloupe always and different ends off the garden ( yes they will cross). Also thank you for teaching me to dig a hole.

"Precision Farming" technique points: 1) You can use the soil in your a) raised bed, b) the ground, or c) a container garden, 2) Wait until after your local frost free day, 3) loosen up soil, 4) incorporate plenty of organic matter & compost, 5) smooth out soil, 6) Suggestion: plant a watermelon between the two cantaloupes, 7) keep holes 18-24" apart (you won't have to thin out later), 8) Use 1 seed per hole (time-saving & seed-saving), 9) Plant seeds 1/2" to 1" deep, 10) Gently tap the soil after covering seeds with soil, 11) Melons like to have a 5-foot space between the rows.
