question on planting the tomatoes why didn't you take off the lower stalks and plant them deeper so you have more root growth ?

I have a question, I am a beginner at growing tomatoes and got the determinate variety. So once all fruits ripen , the plant dies? and we start from zero again ( that is from seed?)

Ok about Trifecta am not sure if its %100 organice or not because you see some stuff in the ingredients like calcium dihydrate ? what is calcium dihydrate I studied agriculture engineering for 4 years and had inorganic and organic chemistry courses for 2 long years but never heard of calcium dihydrate ,or maybe its calcium chloride dihydrate ? or is that new lab made chemical formula ?

The easiest way for me to ensure that there is an adequate supply of calcium in the soil is to buy any brand of calcium pills at the supermarket or pharmacy, crush one or two (depending on the mg size). Mix them in your watering can and feed your tomatoes (and peppers, who also can suffer from BER) about once a week after the plants begin to flower.

For several years, I have grown tomato plants in buckets & containers in gardening soil. We don't have 'potting soil' here (I don't know what that would be in my country), but organic gardening soil with composted manure and organic fertilizer w/ mycorrhiza have given me excellent results.

I have both raised beds and I grow in a greenhouse. so I will need both. where do I get gypsum?

I have a compost that's always giving me tomatoes volunteers that I just let grow where ever them appear but I do have a lot of blossom end rot.i have some in containers and some in raised bed. What do I do about the rot. I am in zone 9 and it is the end of most growing now. Our temperature is between 85 and 95 now. I envy you northerner. Your spring is now while my spring was in February but I still want to grow stuff any suggestions.
