Hi Patrick I love your videos and I wanted to ask you approximately how long is your growing season.
-
Great video as always! This may be a dumb question but how exactly do you save tomato seeds? Thx in advance
Mike -
thanks for the info amigo. can't wait for next year session.

I have a short season too but I plant all kinds of tomatoes - I just start them around 10 weeks before plant out date. Very late varieties are obviously not the best choice but most big tomatoes are midseason too.

Thanks for sharing Patrick. Your videos motivate me to get started :) Keep up the good work. Can't wait to start next year in my new garden :)

Thanks for displaying all temperatures in Celsius too!

That is quite a list of tomatoes you have there :)

Great update. What is the length of the 1/2 " conduit pipes for the tomato plants?
Cheers from zone 7

To plant a garden is to believe in the future. -
Great stuff! How do make sure you get seeds that are only pollinated by the same parent species when you harvest seeds?
-
I love how you get fantastic results without adding fertilisers
-
when you use conduit for the solo tomatoes, do you just drive the conduit in the ground or use rebar like with your full trellises?
-
what is your way of preparing tomato seeds for storage?, your video are great and very informative. Thank you

I think I need to steal your planting and watering methods for next season Patrick, I planted my tomatoes into the little trays at the start of the season, which worked out fine, but then I transplanted them into solo cups... Where they stayed for a few months because I didn't have room to pot them up again. Not only do my seedlings look terrible from being root bound, they are also looking even worse from being over-watered. I think bottom watering might have kept them looking great, as long as I follow your tips. Thanks for another helpful video!
