Great video! Easy to understand yet very concise. Our strawberry plants were a disappointment and we did not get many berries. One problem was something was taking little bites out of the berries. What would that have been and how do we manage that problem for next year? Also, they got too big without many berries. Do we take them out and replace them with new plants for next year?

of course strawberries tolerate any temps..they are weeds)) i can't get rid of them. they grow everywhere and regardless of conditions. gawd, they'd grow from under a rock and make it's way through black fabric shield..they don't care! people, they won't dry out or die...i never tried, because i grow organic, but i'm under impression one can pour cat's pee on them and shoot them...they'll still live and irritate you! note my words..if nuclear war ever happens the only living things will be cockroaches, rats and strawberries. so! find a place you want them to sit, dig a hole with your foot, throw the plant and some dirt on it ...or not..and water the bastard..i guarantee you (unless you are in arizona or alaska) they will dominate your garden and harass every decent plant out there...oh, i hate strawberries

It's really hard for me to actually eat strawberries because sometimes the coldness will hurt my front teeth because they are sensitive and I can't use my back teeth because my body is weird and they didn't grow properly so they only grew a little bit then stopped on both sides and one of my teeth didn't even grow back. It's true I swear

To be honest, when someone wants to know how to grow strawberries and you say the soil type will be in another video, I stop right there. I want to know the soil first, what type of food next, then the planting itself and care over time.

I have been trying to grow them in large pots. They don't get that big, or sweet, and there aren't that many of them. I keep them clean, and feed. Do you think they are too close together? Is growing them in a bed all together a bad idea? How big should one plant get? Thanks

So after watching this I believe I got a bad batch of plants, got 10 plants about 2 months ago and nothing has sprouted yet. That's the second bad batch of plants this year.

Why don't you say anything about watering schedule ,timing of, how much? The video is incomplete without that very essential fact!!!! -

If I have to wait a yr to pick them, do I have to save the plant inside all yr when it gets to hot or cold for them? Or just leave them in the ground all season?
