find a place inside for your water reservoir with the AC pipe it outside it will help in the summer

I apologize if you've said this in one of your videos. But what strawberry variety do you use?
-
I didn't get it... are you running the water with bleach thru the system from time to time to control root rot?. Chlorinated water is a no no in hydroponics (bleach makes strong chlorinated water). I'm lost somewhere!

What size net pots are you using. Great job mate.
-
Beautiful. You discuss brown root rot too! I'll be paying closer attention to your channel. Great job brother.

Thanks a lot

Did the maxi bloom make a difference? Would you suggest it? Thanks

Hi Johnny, I transplant them into a raised bed at the end of summer. Yes they are everbearing - Seascape. Thanks for commenting & watching. Larry

They look great, but how are you going to over winter the plants. Are you planning on replanting every year?. And did you start these from seeds?. I am assuming they are ever bearing strawberries.

Thanks Bro !

Thanks Dale !!!!!!!

I think white pipes would be the way to go. Heat causes the bacteria to grow. I use well water. If you stay on top of your cleaning its very easy to manage. :)

Oh snap! Congrats on 100,000 views Larry! Well done sir!
-
Good tips Larry! Does the system use chlorinated tap water normally? So it's the heat that causes the root issue? If so, would lighter colored pipes help reduce the issue?

Awesome Larry, I'm going to take the portable nft out of the GH and do strawberries if I can still find some. if not, next year as it's just to hot in the GH. I'll wind up adding another 10 dutch buckets in the nft's place :) Thanks bro I was really unsure as to how to approach the strawberries. :)

Brock from greenhouse project says that what he uses & has good results. I just didn't have any food grade peroxide at home & curious if bleach would work. Thanks for commenting & watching ! Larry

Thanks Wayne !

Hi Brock, I buy them as strawberry plants & rinse the roots to get them started. Part 1, I show how I start them. I poke a hole in the net cup to get the roots to reach the water in the pipe. No need to raise & lower your water level. Great tip on the peroxide- I wanted to try that next. Bleach seems to work really well- no deaths yet lol. Larry
