How to Grow Scallions ( Bunching, Spring, & Green Onions ) - Seed to Kitchen!
Tips, Tricks
This is a super easy herb to grow and you will love having these fresh from your garden. They add a wonderful flavor to just about anything! In this thorough video, I will show you how I grow these from seed, some of the problems I've had (hardly any ), how to harvest ,and ways I use them in my kitchen. I hope you have the same success and can begin enjoying them too! My instructional growing videos are very thorough, I don't walk outside with a transplant in hand and read to you what I found on the Farmer's Almanac website. :) LOL I will show you real footage from my home gardens, my experience growing a specific plant. I show you planting from seed, feeding, harvesting, problems I have had, and how I use it in the kitchen. You will not find another gardening / food channel who shows you the information you will find in my How to Grow videos. I hope you find them helpful and enjoy watching. Also known as Sybees and Greentails in Scotland.
I typically sow mine fairly thickly into a pot before splitting then into bunches of about a half dozen before planting them on. I guess the clue is in the name bunching onions.
Stir-fried in a little olive oil, garlic and ginger. Mmmm -
Beautiful tutorial and footage. Your onions look fabulous!
