Does anybody knows if the yellow phal that is shown is a registered hybrid? I have the exact same orchid, and it's fragant!!!. The buds are quite strange too.

The Real Title follows: How to Kill Orchids Indoors | At Home With P. Allen Smith
1. These bags should have plenty of holes all around, the water should be poured out after every watering;
2. No ice cubes!! -
I would not put the plants in a plastic bag, because when you water it, the roots will sit in water and rot. These plants need to drain fully and not sit in water.

Yikes Phal. orchids in plastic bags and stuffed with news paper . I can only imagine the root mess .

Genuine question:
Do you not take them out of that huge pot later to water them?
Or do you just add a couple of icecubes worth of water every 1 week? -
I love it.

I get scared of orchids. They are expensive and i doubt i can keep them alive no matter how hard i try. I dont have a good window to put them near anyway. They are lovely though.

-
You did not make any holes in the plastic bags for the water to run out when watering.
-
He talks like an expert. People who listening to him will kill their orchids
-
Very stupid to put the orchids in the plastic bag. Number one to keep healthy orchids is ventilation

Bad idea, Phalapenosis roots needs air, humidity and light, that's why the plastic pots besides you can inspect the roots. they need little water depending surrounding conditions, average one a week but NO Ice Cubes! They are from tropical weather! Need to be reported every year and a half or at least change the medium. lastly indirect light but no direct sunlight. Temperature between 60-85. This are better advices about how to grow Phalapenosis at home. You video should be "How to decorate with Orchids" but is confusing and misleading people, especially the ones who are beginning ..
