Does it sound good if I use worm casting in the soil directly when sowing the seeds? We don't have very cold weather in Dubai so we can start growing outdoor from January.

Similar to how I grow my Okra. I have a similar potting mix (3rd of compost, peat, and perlite) in my pots and my soil stays moist. I usually only water my plants about every 2 weeks. I check the soil moisture with a meter and water when it's needed.
In my experience, pots seem to retain moisture better than my raised beds. I'm assuming that it's because the pots have an enclosed bottom whereas the raised beds don't. -
Hi California gardener, I hope you can help me with my goal. I want to grow a variety of different vegetables and fruits in my apartment. So of course my dilemma is space. So my question to you is, can I grow okra indoors in a container all year long? I am also looking to grow shallots, garlic, bananas, blueberries, pomegranates, spinach, carrots, dragon fruit, lemons, kiwi, and that's just to name a few. The fruit trees are all Dwarfs. Lol you are probably thinking this girl must be crazy. LOL eventually I want to have all of these move to a yard when my fiancé and I buy our first house.
California Gardener I also want to say that I really enjoy your video and you teach so much in every single video.
I hope you are able to give me a few tips and how to? -
fantastic video mate, keep it coming.
