You need to take the pollinate from the male flowers to the female flowers. The males are the flowers without cucumbers growing on them. A small craft paint brush works great.

wrk great. I grow to keep the local food bank stocked with more than cans.

I like to use a vibrating dollar store powered tooth brush the vibrate the pollen off
just like a buzzing bumble bee. -
There are a number of hybrids, some cucumbers and tomatoes for example, that are ‘parthinocarpic’. These varieties do not need to be pollinated and will not produce a viable seed, either. They are good for growing in greenhouses or where the availability of pollinators is limited.

What happened to all the bees?

non parthenocarpic cucumber varieties require the pollen from a male flower to a female flower, if people were to cutip in female flowers only it wouldn't help, the big cucumber seemed past his picking size , most cucumber plant will slow down on fruit production if cucumbers are left to mature , I love your triangular tellis , an idea for next year.

I planted my cucumbers kind of late I think I put my garden out around the tenth of May and I live in the southeast area. All my plants came up and been flowering and is still now, but they have never produced the first cucumber. I have plenty of pollenation like bubble bees, butter flys, and regular bees in the garden, but as I said never the first cucumber. Can you suggest something I could do to get them producing?
