I know that John will probably never read this so perhaps any of the
subscribers would like to comment on the following question: I'm curious to how "safe" it
is to use plant starters from big box stores like Lowe's, etc. I plan
on planting edible plants like herbs, greens, etc which obviously I will
be ingesting. Any concern on eating these plants that are most likely
non-organic? Thanks in advance... -
Learning so much with your videos mate, nice one.

Hi John, I'v been looking on what do you feed your mint plants and how often?
Can you please help. -
Hi John, have you encountered brown spores underneath mint leaves. The leaves otherwise look perfectly fine. They are bright green and not yellowish or brown or black. So should these brown spores be a cause of concern or are the leaves still edible?

John don't use a paint bucket! Use only food grade buckets from the deli or bakery! Look on the bottom, within the triangle there should be a 2 or 5 which designates it as
food grade. -
It's a good invasive plant.

I hope you live forever

I put my mint in a 12 inch wide container in the ground and it grew out of the drainage holes and spread like wildfire. So will it grow outside the raised bed?

I have only invasive plants in my garden i love invasive plants they are next to impossible to kill i highly recommend invasive plants for beginners im a expert but i still enjoy how easy mint is to care for. If you live in a drought stricken area or a hot one then plant it in the shade it will thrive.
