hi I am suffering with a form of alapicia, I have a bold patch on my head which needs to grow back ASAP! my hair has been cut short to try make it healthy again which it is overdue another cut! do u have any tip in keeping it healthy? with thanks Samantha x

Trims only work if ur hair is damaged and needs it not because u think it will suddenly make it grow

trims DO NOT make your hair grow faster!In 2015 I got trims every 2 months from February to October just to see if it worked but didn't.My hair stayed the same length until January 2016 that I did a hair mask with egg,honey and olive oil every month and last year my hair was 21 inches(curly/wavy)but is 24 inches(curly/wavy)!!!!!
What it helped my hair grow faster was DEEP CONDITIONING with natural hair masks.
So trims are just if u have split ends which is your hair giving itself a haircut which will make your hair grow slowly.I'm not a hairstlylist or an expert btw,I'm just a 12 year old giving advice -

Argan life shampoo is great product! I've been using this shampoo for a month now and notice my hair seeming fuller. My hair is shinier than before. I will continue talking this product and will update with further progress.

So hair grows at around 1cm a month. If I trim an inch off every 2 months, I will have -0- growth in 2 months. Sounds a bit counter productive.I suppose though if I trimmed an inch off every 3 Months, my hair would grow a whopping 2 inches a year instead of 6 inches as it would normally. If you want your hair to grow, get a good pair a scissors that salons use. Find your split ends on your own and snip them off right above the split. Maybe get a trim once a year.

Luxyhair... have you tried the Instyler?? you should try it!! it works wonders for your hair, and leaves it shiny and soft for about 2 to 3 days!! try it!! 😉😉😉

yeah... the thing is that the only part of our hair that is alive is our roots. Trimming just removes split ends.

I have mixed feelings about this regularly cutting.... But, every two three months,... maybe that makes sense =)
Completely agree on no heat and washing too often, I sometimes just wash the hair on my head and not the longer parts...., Also I try not to brush my hair every day.... The more we try to do, the more damage we do... The only thing I use is oil or good conditioners.
