Only one plant? Aren't kiwi plants either male or female? When we got kiwis we were told we needed at least one of each so we got 2 females (Vincent) and one male (Tomuri)

Hi.. I've been following hardy kiwis online for a couple of years to help me care for mine, and today I heard (online) that the roots of kiwi are easily burned by Nitrogen, so you apparently need to be pretty careful when fertilizing. Now I will think of Nitrogen when I run into problems such as leaf curl. My 5-year old kiwi has been in same container since I repotted it after buying it (box store). I fertilized it in the spring, and it has had leaf curl all summer. No kiwis yet, as I have neglected it, but next Spring I will repot it and try to pay more attention to it. I wondered what kind of fertilizer you use and if you have seen leaf curl on kiwis.. Thank you. Enjoyed your video..
