I'm attempting to get my cayanne seeds going. I was thinking about sprouting then in a dish with some water on paper towel what Do you think about that?

Beginners luck, just kidding, nice presentation.

THE ONLY SOIL for HOT pepper seeds is miracle grow organic choice. It am not sure on it being sterile but i always put boiling water on my soil and let it dry before i grow. NEVER use PEAT PODS FOR PEPPERS. I have no idea why but they are not good at all for hot peppers.

Sweeney Said Seeds. i will sell the LAST of this year's harvest for $15 a dozen seeds. Yep, you may find cheaper but not better or hotter. These are very hard to germinate so nothing is guaranteed. Please be an experienced grower, these seeds are not worth wasting and so limited. bingbangboom@gmail.com. Sweeney sells the seeds for 12.99 a dozen but with shipping I'll send them for $15. He is 94 and My friend Ed and I want to buy his seed business... If his kids who he HATES don't screw things up on us.... Anyway... Sweeney Said Seeds are NOT on the internet... YET. his grape Toms taste like sugar toms. He is an amazing person. we are trying to do a silly but TRUE documentary for the business. Our goal is to make him a millionaire so he can leave it to his kids and we can have the seed business. I am not kidding you.. If you live in North East pa you may have heard of the old coot. miserable as hell and killed more people than we can count as he fought in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam... He was only an advisor in Vietnam but did end up in 17 firefights.. i am telling you this guy is BLESSED!!! He hates most people but loves plants. He likes me but not so much my friend... Like I said, you gotta see... anyway.. i got some hot seeds.

I'm going to try all this have been trying to grow my first peppers, I'm using a over priced, covered seed tray in a sunny window (spring has just started here) and nothing has germinated after 10 days, It must still be to cool. I feel so silly for not thinking of the basics.
Very informative. -
cool video, i wish i had some of those ideas when i started growing in 2009.. i did get bhut jolokia as well, but they didn't have much flavor, just an insane amount of heat, so basically how you describe your "fakes"/rip offs.. are you still sure they were habaneros? I made a hot-sauce and loved it for spicing up pasta sauce.. more than 3 drops and you could throw away the bowl of pasta sauce as it was so hot it was unedible ;)
I also cut them in half for drying, but mostly to remove the seeds first.. -
Awesome videos, my friend. Quick question... when you are cutting out the "weaker" plants, do you cut just the stem, leaving the roots in tact? This has always been confusing in all blogs and videos as I never see a demo, I just read to hear it. Thanks in advance for your help, if you get a chance to reply.
