This was a very informative and helpful video. Thanks. :) I don't wear my hair relaxed, but I just stumbled upon your video and really enjoy the info.

also, how long do you wear the sew-ins? Do you wash your hair while the sew in is installed?

girl!! thank you! i am going to try this. my hair just gets on my nerves. its terrible. the front of my hair just doesnt want to grow, the back grows religiously but the front lacks or grows really slow. I cut my hair to my ear and the back still grew faster and the front still lags, now i am finding it is shedding. Drives me crazy! Do you have any advice for shedding?

a list of of the better perms would be super helpful ORS was good for a while but my hair seems to be adapting to it. Dark and lovely was ok too. any suggestions?

have you tried the baking soda /apple cider vinegar method?...I've been using it for about a week now and it is a bit different but my hair gets clean but not stripped
-
your video was very helpful. About the volume...I just used my headphones!

do you texlax?

good job with ur hair care!! if you have good growing relaxed hair then when you go natural, if you do, you are really going to see how fast your hair grows with all the care that you do. my hair grew fast with relaxed hair and i did nothing to care for it. when i stopped getting perms it grew so fast (again without care) that i have cut it SEVERAL times and it has grown back past the middle of my back AGAIN!!! now Im on my own personal journey to care for my hair and see if i see a difference in health.

I'm 16 and I just started relaxing my hair in February. My hair dresser relaxes my hair every six weeks but being the person I am I like to research and learn things about my personal health. Every professional website and blog says to relax at least every 8 weeks but my hairdresser gets very defensive every time I bring it up. I feel super frustrated because it's my body and I'd like to know...I mean I have a right to know and I don't even have that much new growth at the six week mark. I would hate to know I'm slowly damaging my hair. What do you suggest I do?

Do you texlax instead of relax or you texlax between relaxers?

I've been natural for over a decade and I'm ready to get my hair relaxed. Thank you for sharing your hair care tips 👍🏽
