Pea shoots are wonderful microgreens you can grow at home very easily. They are delicious, tender and packed with nutrients. You can enjoy these super greens in about a week. After harvesting, don't throw them away just yet. You can leave them, keep them watered, and get a few more harvests. Hydrogen Peroxide is a great misting solution for sprouting too ;-)

Hi, really loved the video!
I was wondering what kind of peas you use and if any kind of dried pea would work. The Korean dried peas (the same brand that you use for your soybean sprouts) are easily available to me. Would those work for sprouting for pea shoots as well? -
Hello! Can you re-use the soil after growing on it?

Have you tried the paper towel method with these guys?
-
how many times do you allow for it to regrow?

I plan to grow a snow pea plant in my garden. Once I harvest the peas, could I just dry them for a couple of months in an airy but not too drafty spot, and once dried through use them to grow sprouts instead of store-bought pea seeds?
I think the only difference is that the store-bought kind are covered in a protective layer of fungicide. Does that affect how they grow, or is it to stop birds or other animals eating the seeds?
I have some borlotti bean (or cranberry bean) plants growing in my garden. Most of the time I let the beans dry for a year or so, then chuck handfuls into soups, or use them to grow new plants. The question is, could I do the same with the peas?
Thank you very very much. :D :D :D -
that was an awesome video. I would've liked to see a timer during the time lapse portion. Really informative, and cool comparison and explanation.

Thanks for this great educational video on growing pea shoots. Time lapse was awesome as well. I see below you mentioned that they will regrow from the cutting point -- how many harvests could one expect doing that and would one start again with the covering until they got to a certain height? Will second growth etc need some nutrients to be added to help things along?
-
does that regrow after you harvested it?
-
Very informative and helpful.

I have Early Alaska Peas. I did some research on them and can't find any information on whether or not they can be eaten as a microgreen. Do you know anything about them?
