I have 2 plants in huge pots and live in Pa. by the lake! What do I do with my plants in the winter?

I've heard goji berries like a slightly alkaline soil, how well did yours do in the raised bed? I've had one planted in my garden in the uk now for about 5 years, and it only flowered last year for the first time, and produced maybe 3 of 4 fruits 😕

Goji will put out roots from the stem after it gets a few years old. You can/should mulch. Mine likes alkaline soil

Aphids have attacked almost all of my Gojis that I have grown from seed. I have tried to kill them with insecticidal soap or a castile soap + water mixture, but it has been a struggle.

I just bought some organic goji berries from Whole Food in bulk! So I could try to grow some from those seeds? When should I start them? I live in the Portland, OR area. And I would and to trellis it incase it got to big!! I have limited space. Thanks
