Two week update on sowing Dwarf French Tendergreen Bean Phaseolus vulgaris, French Bean, Green Bean, Bush Bean Half-hardy Annual An excellent variety for freezing with fleshy, stringless pods that snap cleanly. Dwarf Bean 'Tendergreen' is early to mature and crops well over a long season. Recommended for use fresh from the garden and for freezing. Trialled, tested and recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany. For Growing Outside Sow mid April to mid July 3" (7.5 cm) apart in rows 18" (45 cm) apart Sow in 2" (5 cm) deep drills. Whilst there is no need to provide any support whatsoever, you will find that the crop will stay cleaner and more off the ground (so easier to pick) if you use pea sticks or similar to a height of a couple of feet (60cm). For Growing Under Protection Sow March to May 3" (7.5 cm) apart in rows 18" (45 cm) apart. Sow in 2" (5 cm) deep drills. You can also grow in large tubs or pots. Whilst there is no need to provide any support whatsoever, you will find that the crop will stay cleaner and more off the ground (so easier to pick) if you use pea sticks or similar to a height of a couple of feet (60cm). 🍓Twitter 🌱 Tweet Me @LondonAllotment https://twitter.com/LondonAllotment 🍓Instagram 🌱 https://www.instagram.com/little_london_allotment/ 🍓Tumblr 🌱 http://little-london-allotment.tumblr.com/ 🍓Pinterest 🌱 https://uk.pinterest.com/LondonAllotment/
