You paid $20.00 for that thing??

After the clematis is planted with your special ingredients how often should it be fertilized thru the growing season and with what? After the initial potting do I ever have to repot? Won't the initial ingredients deteriorate thru the years?

great advice thank you . I will now grow one in a terracotta top see how I go thanks 😊

Hello - Thanks for your Video. I am in the USA, you are in the UK. I will be planting my (5) Clematis plants this Spring - 3 of them will be planted in Stone Urns, and 2 of them will be planted in the ground. We can not obtain John Innes compost here in the USA, so what do you recommend ? I can get MiracleGro Potting Soil. Where do you obtain Fish, Blood and Bone Meal? I just purchased regular Bone Meal. I will be using Stones on top of the soil to keep the soil cool, I will not be using Mulch. I don't know where to find Horse manure either here in the USA. The Mycorrhizial fungai is available via mail order thru Amazon.com. Thanks again for your video, and wish me Luck - PATRICK

Do you recommend gravel in the bottom like I see some people do?

Forgot to meantion that this year for the first time it bloomed 2 times....someone told me to take the dead leaves and branches off and fertilize and water it and it is still has blooms on it. I live in California

Good video, I have a clametis but not sure of the group it's in. We have been cutting down to about a foot late fall and has been coming back strong. My clematis has very large flowers I hear for being in group 3, is this true?

any idea why clematis won't grow in plastic pots?? they're obviously growing in the plastic pots they're in at the nurseries that sell them. why wouldn't they continue to grow in a larger one?
-
not from UK. in the USA, found the potting mix. however, YOURS, that you show in this video, is much fluffier, if you will, almost like a peat. the potting mix gottenat Lowe's - Miracle Grow - looks and feels more like actual soil. very dark black, nothing like the lighter color and lightness of what you pick up and crumble in your hand. just looks and feels completely different.
-
where do you get the Miracle Grow Potting MIX? All my garden centers have is the Potting SOIL.
