By popular request, here is how I grow peppers in zone 6b! I also show examples from a previous garden in warm zone 8b. In this thorough tutorial, I will show you how I grow peppers from seed, harvest, store, problems, watering. uses in the kitchen and MUCH more! I hope this information helps you grow many peppers in your garden this year. Enjoy! My instructional growing videos are very thorough, I don't walk outside with a transplant in hand and read to you what I found on the Farmer's Almanac website. LOL I will show you real footage from my home gardens, my experience growing a specific plant. I show you planting from seed, feeding, harvesting, problems I have had, and how I use it in the kitchen. You will not find another gardening / food channel who shows you the information you will find in my How to Grow videos. I hope you find the information helpful. hi there how r u? my name is mark. i thought of a way to germinate pepper seeds, what i did was i'd put my seeds in a large paper cup filled with seed starting mix after wetting the soil, i put a clear plastic cup on top to act as a heat dome, after that i placed them on a heating mat after they sprouted i took off the dome and placed them under cabinet grow lights.

Have you ever grown plants from the seeds inside store bought capsicums or tomatoes?

My peppers took long time like 6 months to fruit. In tucson it got hot in June to August. Sun was there only for 4 hours a day in alley. Is it normal?

Donna,
I live in zone 8b, and I have an unheated greenhouse.
I'd like to try and overwinter my pepper plants.
last year they all died. I had not removed all the fruit, but think they would have died anyway...
do you have ideas on how to effectively And affordably do this? there are water jugs painted black in there too, lol.
would love a detailed video on prepping for overwintering and how you maintain them.
You did touch on it here.
Thanks for the great videos! -
very informative. Thx

I just found your you tube channel and I'm thrilled with all of the detailed information. Of course, I know a good deal of the information but I appreciate the fact that you provide so much helpful information about every aspect of growing from seeds, dealing with common problems, harvesting, saving seeds and even cooking recipe ideas!
I have a quick question for you. Where do you find all of your heirloom seeds? I'm having problems locating them in my area. When I do find heirloom seeds, I notice that the varieties are limited. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge! -

Hello! Just found your channel looking for square foot gardening. Love your way of growing the recipes and everything looks so great and healthy!! My question is.. Do you ever sell some of your seeds or trade or share some? You have some varieties I would love to try! Or can you tell me where you originally bought your seeds from? Like the thai chili pepper and some of the other pepper varieties too? The big blocky bell peppers.. what kind are they? Cali wonder? Thanks in advance for answering! :)
